Who am I?
My name is Lars and I live in Germany. Ever since I can remember, I have always been fascinated by how nature changes through the seasons and how you can make your land and plants your personal retreat.
Why I created Landscapingplanet.com
As a child, I moved several times and so my father had to create new gardens for us again and again. During this time I learned a lot and would like to pass this on. For this reason, I started landscapingplanet.com. It takes a lot of time to see how nature evolves, so this blog is a lifelong project where new knowledge will always be added and where I report new experiences.
When I was 7 years old, my parents bought an old farmhouse and started to renovate it. Here we had a garden of about 32000 square feet. Mainly lawn with a huge, ancient oak. When we bought the house, everything was pretty overgrown, so we started to maintain the lawn and plant lots of hedges and trees. Back then, there was nothing more awesome for me than mowing the lawn with our riding lawn mower.
Only a few years later we moved to a new house and everything started all over again:
